Methodology & controls
Authoritative data path
Direct server-side XAU/USD feed → external quote provider → closed-candle signal calculation → UTC normalization → server-side deduplication → Supabase authoritative ledger → Gold Terminal. The active provider is shown beside the quote. Browser local storage is not used for performance statistics; no real broker orders are routed.
Risk architecture
1H is the execution timeframe. 4H confirms direction and 1D supplies market context. The current paper model limits risk to 5% per position, maximum 10% aggregate exposure and a maximum of two concurrent positions.
Evidence status
The ledger is server-recorded and versioned. Net statistics apply the transparent xauusd-execution-cost-v1 model for spread, commission, slippage and latency. The evaluation remains a paper model: actual broker terms and independent forward verification remain separate evidence layers.
